Holy cow Debbie!
Do you know how far research has come?
When I was first diagnosed, there were not meters...I had to do a urine 
strip dip!
There are many diabetics that came before me that never even had that.
A lot of people believe the way you do about the money thing when it comes 
to cancer, but it is so complicated, it will take a while to find a cure.
Mass General is finally doing human studies on diabetes, after many years of 
looking how it affects mice.
There really is progress being made.
The Hippocratic Oath does not allow doctors to say "can't" or "won't".
