[Diabetes-talk] Today...

Many people have asked me what it feels like to have low blood sugars, and 
the only way I can describe it is, it is like having the wind knocked out of 
you.  I always feel it first in my mouth, but I can't remember now where. 
If I am low, and already sweaty but able to start the glucose tablets, I 
just put my head under my covers and ride it out (I have most of my lows at 
night).
I have heard of people being arrested, the officer thinking they are drunk, 
when  they are really having low sugars.  I guess that's how I act.
