[Diabetes-talk] Clevercheck swap

Dear Amy,
My situation was similar to yours, and I did not care for the Clever
Check meter. Homecare Solutions, which carried the Prodigy Voice and
test strips, decided to discontinue the product. Settings on the
Clever Check cannot be independently adjusted, the time and date are
not spoken, and memory results only give the blood sugar levels
without a corresponding date and time. The company where I finally got
my Prodigy Voice strips is Byarm Healthcare. I got their information
from my Diabetes educator. Some of the other companies that sold
Prodigy Voice strips did not take Minnesota Medicaid. The contact
phone number is (800) 334-0235.
