Cheryl:
With great respect, keep your shirt on! DDI decided not to continue
doing business with Home Care Supply of America. I did not see fit to
inquire why since it is DDI's right to do business with whom it chooses
and we (NFB) aren't necessarily in the business of defending particular
suppliers.
With respect to ADvanced Diabetes Supply, I personally spoke with the
CEO and have had good service since. Were I you, I'd put your grudge
away and chalk the whole thing up to a new employee (he'd been on the
job only a couple of weeks) who goofed. The situation has been
corrected.
We're not in the business of defending honor and setting up duels at
fifty paces. Screw-ups are part of modern life and while they ought not
happen, the world doesn't run on "oughts". As I say, I've gotten good
service since the initial fiasco and so has Dar.
Having said this, I take nothing away from Advanced Diabetes Solutions,
the outfit Vince is dealing with. The point is that we can vote with our
feet. Several suppliers have been indicated here. Amy has a choice.
Onward and upward.

that is not true Dar, they will pay for what the doctor writes, you need
a
new script anyway, the strips will not working in another machine. and
yes
you should find out why they are not selling the strips anymore I had
this
issue with a vendor a few months ago. it maybe DDI it might be the
supplier
we need to find out what is going on since we have put our John Hancock
on
this device. We need to support it.
