· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/> My New Diabetes Articles for Health Central:

So far I have written 415 articles for the Health Central Network about all aspects of diabetes. In September this great website published seven more of my new diabetes articles:

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/85763/worse-cholesterol> Worse Cholesterol than LDL. Preliminary research seems to show that a little known type of cholesterol might be the biggest threat to our heart health, the most severe complication of diabetes. Even worse than LDL cholesterol is something called oxycholesterol.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/86117/omega-3> How Much Omega-3. Now scientists have reported on how much of one type of omega-3 oil to take so that we can prevent heart attacks and strokes, the major complication of diabetes. This is the first study to identify how much omega-3 oil we need to promote optimal heart health.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/86621/ate> You Ate WHEN? A new study is the first causal evidence connecting meal timing and increased weight gain.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/87035/noncompliant> Are You a Noncompliant Diabetic. When we don't get our blood glucose levels low enough or take the diabetes medicine that our doctors prescribe, they often complain about our noncompliance. When they do that, they are forgetting their place.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/87382/jerky> The Best Jerky. Jerky is the obvious trail food. But all the brands I've found in the stores are too heavy on the carbs. Now, however, we can get low carb beef jerky online from a non-profit group making paleo-diet designed snack packs.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/87945/indulgences> Guiltless Indulgences. Guiltless indulgences might sound like a contradiction in terms. But it's not -- as long as we control how much we indulge ourselves.

· <http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/88393/control-pressure> Two Easy Ways to Control Blood Pressure. Increasing our vitamin D intake and reducing how much fructose we consume help us control our blood pressure, according to preliminary research. While the findings are tentative, we already had good reason to up our vitamin D level and cut back on fructose.

· Dr. Bernstein's Webcast

If you have any interest in controlling your diabetes by low-carb eating, one of the best resources is Dr. Richard K. Bernstein's monthly webcast. It's an hour of excellent diabetes education.

Dr. Bernstein's next live Tele-Seminar is Tuesday, October 27, at 8:00 PM EST, 7:00 PM CST, 6:00 PM MST, and 5:00 PM PST. He designed it to answer your most important questions concerning diabetes and to offer his thoughts on the latest developments in this area. The seminar is free. You can click here to register: http://www.diabetes911.net/askdrb/index.php. It's also available as a live webcast both on the Internet and by phone.

At the beginning of the call Dr. Bernstein will provide new information that is not in his books.
