Hi Folks,

I noticed here lately there have been several messages about pancreas
transplantation. An article titled INSULIN-FREE: PANCREAS AND ISLET
TRANSPLANTATION TO TREAT TYPE 1 DIABETES appeared in the Winter 1995 edition
of Voice of the Diabetic which was written by David Sutherland, MD, PhD. Who
is probably the best known pancreas surgeon in the United States. 

The article is on the NFB website. www.nfb.org and search for Voice in the
search engine. Then click view all of Voice's towards the bottom of the page
and click on the Winter 2005 edition. And again the article is titled
INSULIN-FREE: PANCREAS AND ISLET 
TRANSPLANTATION TO TREAT TYPE 1 DIABETES.
