[Diabetes-talk] Highs and Lows...

Hey Gang:

I'm with Mike. As a matter of fact, RE: testing, I'm absolutely anal about
it. Doesn't matter what I feel. I test four times a day anyway. But if I
feel unusually tired, or in some other way, just don't feel quite right, I
get out the meter and do my thing. Some days I feel like I'm wearing the
bloody thing around my neck. But I figure it's one sure way of defining the
problem a whole lot quicker if there is one. That really doesn't happen
often anyway.

When I used to work at a training center, I used to work with a lot of
seniors. There was one guy who came up to me and asked, "Bern, got any
glucose tabs?" So, give me a number Honey! Have you tested?" He got all
bent otta shape and took off. I don't give anything to anyone like that
unless I'm confident about the numbers. After all, I wouldn't want to be
held liable either. My neck is of too much value to me! Huh?

Bern
