Dear Everett,

Hello, I take lantis twice a day because sometimes by blood sugar level was 
too high before bedtime and I couldn't explain why.  My Endocrinologist( 
Doctor who specializes in Diabetes) had suggested it.  We did not cut the 
evening dose in half, though.

I strongly urge you to change doctors as soon as you can.  It is a pain to 
do but you will soon will be very grateful.
