[Diabetes-talk] Lantis More Than Once-A-Day?

Hello Again,

Thanks to all of you who responded to my question.

Here in Louisiana, in Ruston, there isn't a diabetic 
specialist yet.  I'd have to travel a half-hour East to 
Monroe or an hour west to Shreveport to find one.  I'm 
heading back up to Northeast Ohio in a little over a 
month, though, and plan on getting back with an Endo 
right away.  I'm not disregarding my diabetes or my 
health.  On the contrary, I've been monitoring it 
closely these past 8 months.

The 18-hour span with this insulin sounds like what 
might be happening in my case.  I'll be paying closer 
attention to that, now.  Also, I'm not necessarily 
overweight.  I've actually lost nearly 30 pounds since 
coming down here, and am under 200 for the first time 
since before losing my sight. I'm content with myself 
in that regard.  ;-)

Anyway, thanks again for the input.  It's appreciated.
