[Diabetes-talk] Expiration Dates on Diabetic Prescriptions

Actually, I tend to go along with Dar. My husband is a pro at scrutinizing
labels for everything: food, drink, meds, things touching skin, and the
like!! We all have these little food and allergy quirks to be concerned
with in our house. We're always reading labels. When I first began using
insulin, whether it was the pen or the glass vials and syringes, the labels
on all of them stated, that the product is good for one year if kept
refrigerated. Once opened, however, the insulin is only good for 28 days
after that.

As for my broken foot, I did that on New Year's morning at 2:00 am. David
got me up during the night and, of course, I made the fatal mistake of
running for him 99% asleep, and, (you guessed it, in bare feet). I stubbed
my toe and broke it. The doctor just wrapped up the toe against the one
next to it. It has a small fracture. Other than that Honey, can't do much
for a busted toe!
