The  pens that offer half units use a disposable cartridge, not like the 
lantis pen and humalog pen I am used to which, yes you  dispose the needle 
and then dispose the  whole  prefilled  pen when empty. the pens I am asking 
about   you do not toss the pen  but the prefilled cartridge.
