Mike, my ideal meter wouldn't beep at all until there was enough 
blood for the test. This is what the Free Style does now. But when 
I'm moving my finger around in an attempt to match any possible blood 
with the right spot on the strip, a blood detected message would 
allow me to stop moving around. Does that make sense? No meter beep, 
just a speech message saying hey, found it! <grin.>
