[Diabetes-talk] Solo V2 Announcement

i got one of those solo meters i think it's allright but had problems getting the control solution to work properly. did anyone else have this problem?  It wouldn't read the control solution

Eileen,

Thank you for the comment supporting my belief where the time extension 
would be an advantage with the Solo V2 meter. I remembered comments such as 
yours and many others from our Diabetes-Talk over the last couple of years 
that were like yours as to why I included it as a priority.

I am all for a nice logn & sufficient time period to be able to get blood on
any strip that is used with any meter.  I've been a type 1 diabetic for over
41 years now and blind for the past 29 years and think I am pretty darn good
at knowing how to do a glucose test and milk my finger for a dropplet of
blood.  There are times for whatever reason or reasons that getting the
sample proves more difficult than others.

Its great that there are those blind diabetics that can consistantly test
without a hitch in getting an appropriate sample and never have to question
what's going on.  I'm not a super human and I like to have extra time
without my testing device timing out on me.
