[Diabetes-talk] Pork and glucose levels.

Has anyone ever come across information linking the eating of pork with
higher glucose levels? I ask because, for various personal reasons, I had
recently decided to give up pork altogether. As was stated in prior posts
here, my recent numbers have been very good, in the "normal" range, and no,
Mr. Freeman, this time I am *NOT* complaining about low numbers
*GRIN*

But on Sunday, I went back on my "no pork" policy for one day. The next day
my number tested at nearly double the day before. Now, this morning, (almost
48 pork free hours later) my number is back down to normal again. So, just
out of geeky curiosity, what do you all think? Is this a fluke or a valid
idea that giving up pork can *POSSIBLY* lower your blood sugars?
