[Diabetes-talk] DAN election Results

[Mike Freeman]

At the business meeting of the Diabetes Action Network of the National
Federation of the Blind, held during the Diabetes Seminar on the afternoon
of July 5, 2011 during the NFB national convention in Orlando, Florida,
elections were held. The following were elected for one-year terms:

 

Michael Freeman, President (WA)

Bernadette Jacobs, first vice-president (MD)

Minnie Walker, Second Vice-president, (Al)

Diane Filipe, Secretary (CO)

Joy Stigile, treasurer (CA)

Mindy Jacobsen, Board Member (NY)

Maria Bradford, Board Member (WA)

Wanda Slone, board Member (OH)

Travis Moses, Board Member (MT)

 

Congratulations to all including especially Travis Moses; this is his first
crack at the DAN Board. And a word of hearty thanks for Vincent Chaney who
has done yeoman service on the DAN Board liaising with the Solo Meter folks
and with Advanced diabetic Solutions.
