um yes, they do ask if I am taking me transplant medications, I realize people aren't happy with the answers I have provided here, I don't make up the rules.  Medicare is controlling how the other insurance companies follow.

No a script is not enough, it just says that you were prescribe to take it, many patients are what is called non-compliant, which means they don't take the medications that they are given. We all know people like that many diabetics don't take there meds, or test there sugars.

  This is absolutely right- if my doctor has prescribed my strips
  indicating I text X amounts a time a day, that should be good enough for
  any insurance provider.  If they really question this, it should be
  addressed with medical professionals and not the patients.

  And are they asking cancer patients to prove how often they take chemo
  treatments, or dialysis patients to prove how often they go in for
  treatments, or if transplant patients are taking their anti-rejection
  meds?  No; so why do we diabetics have such a problem?  And from my
  observations, it seems like you type 2's get it worse.
