Yes, I have the Cosmo too, as I said. The beeping function does make it
easier, and safer, to know what you're doing. It would be nice to use
the other features though, as well as be able to completely
independently operate, and adjust, things as I need to.
I may have to contact you off-list about accessing basal patterns with
the software on the computer. That would make life a bit easier for me
right now! Smile.
Sincerely,
Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter

Bridget, I'm hanging on to my Cozmo for dear life! <grin.> I just
managed to sit down with my hubby one day, labeled the graphics in
the software and made a Window-Eyes set file that works quite well.
It's nice because I have a separate set of basal rates for use when
I'm on Prednisone. This makes it easy to switch. When I changed to
using Apidra I ended up changing the length of action.
The pump does have features I can't use, like the food lists, low BG
information. And sometimes it's a bit rough not being able to read
how much is left in the cartridge. But right now it's the only pump
that beeps when you go up and down menus and such. So hmmm, given how
my insurance works, that gives someone about a year and a half to
invent something better! <laughing!>
