And adding more protein to your diet will help stabilize sugars. And
protein exist in many foods beyond meat. As long as it is low-fat
protein, this is a really helpful way to maintain good, stable numbers.

Hi Alan,
For the last three or four years I have been taking two types of insulin
every day. I would take rapid acting Humalog insulin before meals in
Lantice before bed. I have started to limit myself to 100 g of
carbohydrate per day and I am now off of insulin. It took a while to get
used to only eating 100 g of carbohydrate every day, but now it is
working wonders.
