True enough. But one would think that were this a common reaction, it would
have been noted in diabetes-related books or in Diabetes Forecast, Diabetes
Self-management quarterly or other such publications or, indeed, in the
materials about the various insulins on the Internet, package inserts or
warnings from one's pharmacy. In all my reading, I've never read of this
reaction.
This doesn't say, though, that a particular individual might not have this
reaction. But without a proposed causal mechanism, I remain a skeptic. I'll
be interested in what you find out.

There is often a chemical reaction with certain medications and anesthesia.
I do not know about insulin, I personally have not experienced this.
I will ask my daughter , she is a licensed barber and cosmetologist.
