[Diabetes-talk] Update on Pumps?

You beat me to it, Mike. I sure don't know of any such place containing
reviews of all pumps by blind people. But it is absolutely worth inviting a
bunch of different reps to visit you and let you play with their pumps. Just
as sighted people are, we all have different ways that make sense to our
brains and one person's Heaven is another person's nightmare. <grin>
And your discussion changes if you are looking to wear a continuous glucose
monitor at the same time. The Medtronic isn't more accessible than any of
the others that are out now so there's no harm in having a snoop. If you
want more contact with some of us who use other pumps, just feel free to
ask. Happy snooping.
Veronica

Best bet is to look at this list's archives. Insofar as I am aware, there
ain't no such animal as a page with reviews by blind folks of a number of
pumps.

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] Update on Pumps?

Hi All,

I have 2 reps from Medtronics coming out this
Friday to show me a pump. One of them has worked
with multiple blind people supposedly, and that's
why the other rep is bringing her along. To make
sure I know how this pump can properly,
supposedly, be used by a blind person despite
being only partially accessible. My question is,
can someone point me to a page(s) with
descriptions and reviews by blind people, of the
various pumps available nowadays? I'm embarrassed
to say I haven't kept up well here, and have
skipped several conversations regarding pumps in
the past.

Thanks, All,
Everett
