Yeah ... carb counting can be rather tricky -- especially when portion sizes
are misestimated. About the only *true* exact measure uses carb factors and
weighing foods on scales. Fortunately, most of us don't have to be that
exact and most of the time can "guestimate".

I bet that was a fun exercise.

Now there's the diabetes education graduation exercise, eh? Count these
carbs after three drinks! Hahahaha! At one of my pump group meetings, they
set up what would be considered a normal Thanksgiving dinner. We all had to
come up with carb counts for this dinner. We all were skunked, even though
we thought we knew what we were doing. It was the actual portion sizes
they'd chosen that got us. But it was a fun exercise, especially when we
found the stash of Snickers bars in the case of the guy running the
exercise. <yumm!>

My doctor knows I am on this list.
He knows I come ask questions, bringing them back to him.
I wanted to start because going to the convention this summer, I wanted 
to learn how to adjust everything if I was to high.
When I go to Colorado doing nothing at all, my numbers go over 200.
When I come back home they are back to where they range.
we decided that going to mile high made my numbers climb.
