Joy:
The Aviva is the successor to the Advantage, a modified version of which was part of the VoiceMate system. At one time, I heard that AccuChek was planning to put out a new VoiceMate based on a modified Aviva but it was experimental, last I heard and never was marketed.

No word yet on a replacement from Acucheck. I am trying to work with the IBGstar. The UI is a mixed bag. It is workable, but not very pleasant.
