No, the device is strictly for burning a hole in your finger. There used to be a system that punctured your finger, collected the blood and gave you a reading but the system wasn't accessible and it wasn't very successful either as it went off the market rather quickly. There are too many variables to allow a mechanical device like that to function reliably.
I'm afraid there are no magic answers here.
