[Diabetes-talk] What have your affiliates done for diabetesseminars during convention

Last year, before we existed in Iowa, Mike Freeman was our national rep. We
put together a nice long list of resources from the BARD, Bookshare, etc.,
and several web sites. Mike talked about the purpose of the DAN, and I
talked with the group about food. As I think I said here after our meeting
this year, we had an endocrinologist talk with us about diabetes
basics--what causes it, treatment, self-management, complications from a
body systems perspective, etc. Then she answered questions from the
audience. Excellent program!
