[Diabetes-talk] why I don't test myself

Not necessarily. If one knows his physician knows his stuff, be he an endo, internal medicine specialist or GP, one can get good care. However, all other things being equal, an endo is more likely to be knowledgeable about diabetes and a diabetologist even more so.
