IMO you could make the doctor search easier by skipping the chiropractor. (grin ) also, there's a growing school of thought that knocks whole grains also. Read Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes. It's available on BookShare. He's a low-carber for sure. 
Read what we say and then, together with your medical personnel, figure out what works for you.
