[Diabetes-talk] Has anyone ever had this happen?

I had this happen to me also. When I asked about it, I had the nurse practitioner at our diabetes center tell me not to use that 1st drop of blood for testing too. I remember at that time, I was like you've got to be kidding me. I always had a really hard time getting enough blood to get a reading on a test strip, and I was pretty annoyed that Now I had to try for two drops. I wish I could have told you something I had found helpful for this, but I honestly never did. Maybe someone who has been at it longer could help with this one.
