Hi everyone,
If you are having any type of reaction to your humlog insulin, it may be
because it has latex in it. Depending on the vial I would be using would
depend on how big my rash got for the month and also how much my joints
hurt.

The insulin also always stung when I gave myself shots and when I used it
in a pump had even more severe reactions. My doctor never told me about the
latex in it mainly because I don't think many know. I had to do some
extensive research on this.

Anyway, Novolog is the alternative(and Apidix--newer one)...just in case
others are experiencing the same issue. It could be something else, but it
was the latex I am allergic to.

Pass the word on...I really wish I would of known this 30 years ago--could
of saved me a lot of grief
