[Diabetes-talk] New Prodigy Auto Code

I ordered my prodigy voice from the NFB, $50 for a start kit and came
w/braille manual.
I ordered the auto code, which came free when ordering 4 boxes of 50 strips,
$35.
These are the non-coding strips which I was told by Scotty w/prodigy the
strips work for all 3 meters.

I doubt it. And I think you'll be disappointed with the autocode. While it
does speak the current reading, it only does so *once* and you cannot
audibly review readings from memory nor can you set the meter audibly
(date/time and units of measure). So while the Autocode makes a great backup
meter, you should have asked for the Prodigy Voice; all funcions on it speak
and it uses the same strips as the Autocode.

Hi All,

I called TDS today and ordered my Prodigy AutoCode meter with 50 test
strips. Including shipping, it was still under $25.00. I spoke to Diane
and she knew about the discount code for NFB members. Does anyone know if
this meter comes with an accessible manual?

Steve
