I also use the Count-a-dose with the BD 50 unit syringe. Several months back 
my HMO gave me a different syringe which did not work well with the 
Count-a-dose. I spoke to the pharmacist and was able to get the BD syringes 
once again.
Regarding identifying the different kinds of insulin, are the bottles 
different sizes and/or shapes which Dawn is able to recognize by touch? 
Also, she might be able to store the bottles in different size or shape 
containers or boxes.  Another suggestion might be that she could attach some 
kind of tape or other kind of material such as string or a rubber band to 
the bottles for easier identification.
Just some thoughts.
