Hi Jonathan,

Doctor’s rarely recommend vitamins. However, with that said the ones that have been suggested I take include:

a good Vitamin B complex to help support nerves and the effects of diabetes on the nerves.
Alpha Lipoaic Acid for same reason as the B Complex.
Omega Fish Oils for blood flow and to help the heart.
A good calcium supplement with vitamin D & magnesium – this might be more a female thing, but high sugar levels are known to leach out the calcium from the bones so I would think its good for the guys too.
And, since my heart surgery, Magnesium 200Mg per day has been recommended along with a good Vitamin C every day.
Now, I had been taking most of this stuff anyway and without a doctor telling me too, but now they are having more to say about what vits are helpful!

Good luck.

Hello all,
I hope you are all doing well. I was curious if anyone on this list
has been recommended any vitamins or supplements that your Doctors
have said would have positive affects on your diabetes and overall
health and why?

I look forward to hearing your responses

Warm Regards,

Jonathan Franks
