[Diabetes-Talk] Very Sad, Indeed: The Passing Away Of Mike Freeman, President of the Diabetes Action Network

Hi Gang,

I'm sad to hear about Mike's passing. He is one of
the NFB stalwarts who seemed to be at every
National convention, and in nearly every meeting.
He was always helping with this or leading that.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who he inspired over
the years. The NFB, and the DAN for that matter,
is what it is today due in memorable part to our
dear Mike Freeman. May his soul be blessed and at
peace. Balls to the wall, Mike! To the barricades,
indeed! 

Congratulations, Bernadette. Though I'd rather
have voted you in than you have to step-up this
way. But, with a man like Mike, sometimes the only
way to open the position is for him to pass on.
Because he does a good if not great job, and is
preferred and even enjoyed by many. May you enjoy
many years to come, with the same sort of loyalty
and love, Bernadette. Blessings to your efforts!
