One thing you should know is that while you can set up the Solus V2
completely by yourself, only the last ten readings from memory can be
reviewed using speech. This is because the meter is bilingual (it speaks
both English and Spanish), and the speech takes up enough memory to only be
able to speak the last ten readings from memory. The rest of the readings
are all still there but sight will be required to read past the last ten
readings using the meter alone. Hence, it will behoove you to keep an
independent log of your glucose meter readings. Frankly, it behooves all us
diabetics to keep an independent written log. But a goodly number of us
honor this stricture more in the breech than in reality. (smile)

Hello Bridgit,
My nurse has started to have me administer my own insulin.
I've received more diabetic supplies as of today, and have confirmed with my
medical supplier for my Solus V2 that I will be getting my meter within a
week.
I'm still awaiting a text manual for it, but until such time, I will explore
other resources to see if I can learn to use it, in particular, before it
gets here.
