Well, yes, like I say, various ways. I know some people swear by certain
apps. I'm actually not a huge Excel fan, but my husband is, and is in fact
certified in it, so he helps me problem shoot when I need it, and he has
created formulas and stuff for me, so it works, for me, but there's
certainly more than one way, grin.

When logging, there's various ways, but I create a simple Excel spreadsheet
and do date, time, reading, meals and how many carbs, insulin taken and note
things like exercise and illness.
When testing, I prick my finger, move meter with strip to spot I poked and
do a circular motion. It usually takes on the first try, but I've also been
doing this for 30 years, so practice makes perfect, smile.

Hi,
Thanks for the book. I'll take a look. The meter already came pre-set with
correct ate/time/unit of measurement right out of the box, surprisingly.
I won't bother with the control solution thing, if my nurse wants to, it'll
be up to him.
My nurse says i should practice my readings anyway, so I'll go ahead and
try.
Thanks for your help.
