[Diabetes-talk] NFB of Ohio convention and Diabetes Action Network of Ohio breakfast

Hello fellow DAN listers,

 

This past weekend, the NFB of Ohio held our 70th convention. This was one of
the largest conventions that Ohio has held. We are proud of the results of
this convention and the professionalism of which it was conducted. The
agenda was packed with various events, breakout sessions and division
meetings of which the Diabetes Action Network of Ohio met for a wonderful
breakfast. Our meeting was positive and encouraging. In this meeting we
elected our board for 2017. Election results:

 

President-Paul Jordan, Vice President-Susan Day, Secretary-Wanda M. Sloan,
Treasurer-Collene Roth, andBoard-Susan Ott.

 

Please join me in congratulating our board. We are looking forward to a very
productive year while exemplifying our purpose as a Diabetes Action Network
member to educate, inform, respect, their independency  of Diabetes and
their blindness as well help the blind advicate their rights  and promote
the quality, security, and opportunity for all  individuals.
