And since the Dexcum app has worked well, this should be a model for other
devices that an app could work if they don't want to make the device itself
accessible, although that would be best. Some dialogue would be great though
so hopefully us blind diabetics don't have to be left out in the dust of
such revolutionary technology.

Well, we need to know if the new things work with an app and then if they
work with VoiceOver or TalkBack or whatever the Android is called. I know
Medtronic doesn't have a history of divulging such info ahead of time. They
sure do like to brag when they find any visually impaired person who even
sort of plays with their stuff though.
But yes, we need to be considered on the front end of all of these things,
not the back. <grin> Veronica
