Just a reminder, join us today at 1:00pm Eastern Time for our weekly Blind Diabetes Peer Support Group Conference Call. The call will be 45 minutes long and we will have blind diabetic friends join us from across the country. Today we will discuss the basics of healthy eating. We will also answer any questions people may have about the BID Group or getting a Prodigy Voice Meter.

Blind Diabetes Friends,

There is a new website especially for Blind Diabetics - the Blind Independence Diabetes Group or BID Group. The purpose of the BID Group is to enable blind diabetics to improve their diabetes health skills, gain independence, and make new friends! 

The BID Group website provides free “living with diabetes and blindness” audio training materials from top professionals.  It offers friendly nationwide peer support groups where blind diabetics come together by conference call to learn, laugh, and do life together.
