Gary, tomorrow I will post to the list the ones I found. I even heard of one
yesterday, (I have to check the name) which I haven't tried but I am told it
is fairly good. Sorry it will take me another day.

Right now I don't have the budget for those sort of things.but that will be
something I look at for the future. I just want to get by with apps that
can do the same job at the moment.

My husband is blind and was able to set up our FitBits on his own. The app
is pretty accessible, in my opinion. In addition to determining how many
steps and miles and pace, you can do things like in-put calories and water
consumed in a day, along with other features.

True, and I have a Fitbit as well. I think it is the Fitbit charge. The one
thing to know is if you are blind you cannot set it up independently to get
started. But as long as you charge it regularly the one I have measures
heart, calories burned, miles/steps walked, how many hours of sleep
received, with heart rate either resting or exercising, exercise can be
tracted for active versus not, and you can log food for the day. There are
also sections for tips that work. Not 100 per cent accessible, but better
than some I've seen. I do think Bridget is right. I can recommend some, not
today, but steps are more accurate with fitbit.

If you purchase a FitBit, it is accessible through the app. You wear the
FitBit like a wrist watch, then access it through the app. Depending on what
type of FitBit you have, it can even measure heart rate for you. But my
husband and I love our FitBits.

There are apps you can use directly through the phone itself, but we have
found a device like the FitBit to be more accurate and convenient.

Hello I would like to know if there are any good aps for tracking number of
steps traveled , number of calories burned and that sort of stuf on I OS.
It needs to be accessible to voice over. If there are any recommendations
on this , I would truly appreciate it.
