Hi Alyssa,

Welcome. I am a type 1 diabetic of 49 years and I’ve been blind for 37 of those years. I lost my sight from complications of diabetes. I use an insulin pump to deliver my insulin.

Hello all,

I am new to the list and thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself.

I've had Type 1 Diabetes for almost fourteen years. I've been blind my
whole life, so the two are unrelated. Does anyone else on here have
Type 1?
I enjoy writing and have a blog about my life with Type 1.

I'm looking forward to getting to know others on this list.
