Hello,
I am a Type One. I have been one for 38 years. I lost my eyesight 15 years ago due to complications with the diabetes.

Regards,

The pump gives audio beeps when I give my bolis insulin, does a confirmation count back with beeps and once I okay the dosage it beeps a single time. If I escape out of something there is a tri-tone beep. And when I change the reservoir and infusion set there are beeps and beepish sounds at different points during the process so I can tell when the steps are going correctly or if I screwed up by pressing a button too many times. Sometimes I can escape my way out of it and other times I will take the battery out of the pump quickly and then insert them back in. Usually this sets me straight and other times I start making phone calls to see who is available to come over for a few minutes to straighten me out.
