Hi,

I am in Australia, and have been using the Sensocard Plus talking Glucose
meter, and find it very good and easy to use.

The below link gives a good description:

http://www.sensocardplus.com/

It is freely available in Australia, but I don't know about in the US, where
I am guessing you are.

Under our Medicare, the test strips cost me $1 for a box of 50, but if the
meter is available there, first check the price of the test strips there.

Regards,
Paul

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Best talking glucose meter

Hello,

I have been recently diagnosed and am in search of the best glucose monitor
for a totally blind person. I have heard that the Prodigy is the best but my
insurance carrier providers do not carry it. The only option that is offered
is the Brace, which I have never heard of.

I know I can order from Amazon and will if the Prodigy is the best.

Thanks.
