Doula, if they ask me for a lot number and I just say, I don't have it, it's no big deal. But they are really good at replacing sensors. So just tell them you messed up the tape and they'll send you out replacements. Also, the patch overlays are really excellent. You get them by asking technical support for them when you call. I use them with my G6 and was wondering if they had them for the G5.
I had a terrible time getting medical tape pieces to work. But my dog snuggles up against them all the time and I always put mine on my belly. 
I often don't take my phone in the bathroom and when I return to my bedroom after a shower, it just connects in a minute or so. Don't plan on this behavior regularly. Sometimes it's just a fluke and you just move on. Good luck settling in.

At airports, there are certain security devices you cannot walk through. You just tell them that your medical device can't go through, and they can either pat you down or use the hand wand.

I know if something goes off while walking threw the thing to make sure you don’t have anything that would go off.
Or they wish to scan you.
