Veronica I do agree with you.veronica , have you gotten your g6.I want to
know about your experiences as I wont be eligible for a new upgrade to g6
as I was told when I did my g5 inquiry to g6 last week.so for the time
being I have a good six months of g5 senssors and I cancan extend them out
for a bit longe asi have a tendency to do with all g5 snsenssors I use .i
get a good 14 to 20 days out of each g5 senssor and I am hping aht there isa
trick to go around the 10 day limit on the g6 a well. Will wait to hear
about all of your fun or not so fun journeys with g6 an inserting an
programming the senssors as things look like, we will eventually need an
engineering degree to figure out these things being blind and that being
another part of the journey with these diabetes technologies .these
technologies are supposed to improve our diabetic management lives but they
cause even more stresses as you and i have experienced over the years.

I've heard one report that they'll cover it in the fall but I didn't get it
from the horse's mouth, so to speak so we'll see. That's ridiculous. The CGM
is a CGM, using the same components and my own personal opinion, Medicare is
just being really stupid. Heck, think of all the money Medicare could save
on strips! Sheesh!
The cynical part of me could be convinced that someone would come out with a
talking closed loop system and Medicare wouldn't cover it! <shriek.> Okay,
I'll be nice now. But every day I get more nervous about going on Medicare
in the fall. Oh well, it is what it is. Thank goodness I have all of you
here.
Thanks so much.
Veronica

Obviously I was not clear enough. No, they are not yet covering the G6.
