[Diabetes-Talk] CGM question

Hi All,
 I tend to be a lurker, but read some of what bounces around on the
list. So, I've been paying attention to the most recent discussions
about the Dexcom, and wishing I didn't have to poke my fingwith twice
a day and rely on something that can be off. My question is do you
have to have an insulin pump to be using a CGM? My current readings
from my meter are pretty controlled, and with my work on weight loss,
I've been going down on insulin. But to me, it makes more sense to
have a system that is reliable and not off. I'll be seeing my endo in
September and am wondering if it's even worth it to bring up the topic
with him or not. Thanks so much.
