I use the Dexcom and I have United Health Care and Medicaid of CT. I do not
pay anything for my Dexcom supplies. I do get them thru a distributer
called Byrom Healthcare.

I first got them directly from Dexcom and it was costing me just under $100
for a 3 month supply as Dexcom wouldn’t take my Medicaid.

As far as the Dexcom G5 goes I have used that for more then 1 ½ years and
really after the training and maybe a month beyond that I was doing it by
myself without any problems. I have in the last month gotten the Dexcom G6
and after my son read me the directions and I fumbled putting the sensor in
a couple of times it is working out OK. I am just having trouble with the
sensors staying on. I am waiting for a delivery of the overlay patches to
us and hopefully once I get them I will be set.

The apt works great and easy to use. The only trouble I have had with the
apt is when the sensor fell off twice there was a warning signal that would
go off basically saying “replace sensor now!” I go to bed listening to a
book that is on my iPhone and let me tell you that for some unknown reason
that this warning signal would go off in the middle of the night every 60
seconds and tell you that the signal had sounded 2, 3, 4, 5 minutes ago.
As I was waiting to get the overlay patches I spent 2 nights listening to
that and then gave up and used some surgical tape to anchor the sensor
down.

I have just gotten an Apple watch and will let you know how Dexcom works
with that. I understand if you have an Wi-Fi connection you do not have to
have your iPhone near you.

Joyce the sensor.

I can’t live without my Dexcom keeping me informed on what my blood sugars
are and especially
