And for me, while I have a carb/insulin ratio, it really depends on what I
eat. The pump can't account for that, just whatever carb amount I plug in. I
certainly can change it, but for me, it's been easier to just touch bolus.
And trust me, I hate math, LOL!

I do the same as Bridget. I just know how much insulin I need for what I
eat, and I use the touch bolus to give the amount that I need. I have never
let any of the pumps that I have used figure out how much insulin I need.
