lancet kits come with two tips that can be used.  The one with the
narrow hole is for finger sticks.  The one with the wider hole is for
arm sticks.  If doing an arm stick, make sure you are no the bottom side
of the arm in a fatty area.  If finger sticks don't work, maybe an arm
stick will work.  You may actually get enough blood out for a reading
quickly but have a bandaid ready to close things up.
