No, I live in the Midwest. Unless you live in a super small town, I'm sure your grocery store carries hummus. Just ask an employee for it next time. It's great as a dip or as a spread. At restaurants, it's usually served with tortilla chips or flatbread. It's great to dip veggies in or even crackers if you like. I also spread it onto tortillas and roll up. You can use it as a spread for sandwhiches too.
