[Diabetes-Talk] Dexcom question

A Trick... call Dexcom number. Do not hit to order. Hit #2 for tech support.
They will give you an opportunity to be called back, they do. Then simply
tell them you were having a connection problem that resolved and ask if they
can send you some over-lay patches. This works every time for me and they
will send a couple packs due to difficulties getting through.

Best of luck,

Rick

We finally were able to access the website and the form to request overlays,
but the edit fields were "read only," and we tried IE, Chrome, Firefox and
Edge, and it still did not let us type anything in the edit fields.

Good morning Bridget! I just submitted an overlay patch request using the
Live chat. All of the other options on the Tech support link did not work.
I kept getting a "OK" or "Cancel" message that I just clicked OK on. The
live chat worked once I figured out how to do it! The agent came up right
away, asked for your name, then whether you are the patient, parent, etc.
When they ask the question, you tab to the edit field, type in your answer
and then tab to "Send". I kept re-typing my answer, but finally figured out
that I have to wait for the agent to say "Andrea is listening" before typing
another response. Hope this helps.

I need to order overlay patches. According to tech support's phone message,
you can visit www.dexcom.custhelp.com and order online. But when I type this
into my browser, it says such a site does not exist. I really need these and
don't have time to sit on the phone forever, waiting to speak with someone.
But I don't want to pay on Amazon if I can get them free. Advice,
suggestions?

Bridgit
