Gary,

The InPen is a smart glucose pen that pairs with the Dexcom system (for now), and also can be utilized by itself as well. It automatically logs insulin taken with the pein to an iOS or Android powered device. You also have the ability to enter in your blood sugars and amount of carbs at meal time or during the day and the inappropriate calculator can assist you with the proper dose of insulin. It all boils down to having the inPen app on your smart phone.
